Frequently asked questions
How do I create a game?
Open the app, go to your group, and tap the New Game button. You can pick a date directly or run a poll so the group votes on the best time. Once the date is locked in, players RSVP and get reminders before the game.
How do I invite people to my group?
From your group screen, tap Invite. You'll get a shareable link. Anyone who opens the link and signs in will join the group automatically. You can revoke or regenerate the link at any time from group settings.
How are settlements calculated?
After everyone enters their buy-ins and final chip counts, the app calculates net positions for each player and produces the minimum number of payments needed to settle up. Payments happen outside the app (cash, Venmo, Zelle, IOU). Poker Night does not process money.
What if someone enters the wrong score?
The host can edit any player's buy-in or chip count from the game's scoring screen, even after submissions. Settlements recalculate automatically when scores change, as long as the game hasn't been finalized.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Go to Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, find Poker Night, and tap Cancel. Your Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period. Cancellation must happen at least 24 hours before renewal.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not by Poker Night. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund directly from Apple.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app, go to Profile, tap Settings, then Delete Account. Your authentication data is removed and your profile is anonymized. Game history that other players participated in is retained in anonymized form so their stats remain accurate.
Does Poker Night process payments between players?
No. Poker Night is a chip-tracking and settlement calculator. It shows you who owes who and the minimum number of payments to settle up, but it does not move money between players. All payments happen outside the app, between friends, in whatever way you normally pay each other.
Is my data private?
Your account data, group membership, and game history are private to you and the groups you join. We never sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
I found a bug. How do I report it?
Email hello@pokernightapp.com with as much detail as you can: what you were doing, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Screenshots or screen recordings help a lot. We triage every report.
