Privacy Policy

We collect the following types of information:

• Profile information — provided via OAuth (Google, Facebook, or Apple) or email sign-in: your name, email address, and profile avatar
• Game data — scores, groups, game history, scheduling preferences, and score balancing records you create within the Service
• Subscription data — if you subscribe to a paid plan, your subscription status and plan details (managed by RevenueCat)
• Session data — IP address, browser type, user agent, and device information collected during authentication
• Push notification tokens — device push token, platform (iOS/Android), and device model identifier, stored to deliver push notifications to your device
• Crash and diagnostic data — error messages, stack traces, and performance metrics collected by Sentry to maintain service reliability. On web, this may include anonymized session replays (visual recordings of page interactions). Crash reports are associated with your user ID and username for error triage.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
• Send notifications about game updates, invitations, and score update reminders
• Calculate statistics, leaderboards, and player insights
• Improve and personalize your experience
• Respond to your requests and support inquiries

We use the following third-party services:

• OAuth providers (Google, Facebook, Apple) — for authentication. We only receive the profile information you authorize.
• Resend — for transactional email delivery (invitations, notifications, and sign-in codes)
• Expo — for push notification delivery on mobile devices. Expo receives your push token, device platform, and our project identifier to route notifications.
• RevenueCat — for managing in-app subscriptions and purchase validation
• Sentry — for error tracking, performance monitoring, and session replays (web only). Sentry may process your user ID and username for error triage purposes.
• Cloudflare — for infrastructure hosting, data storage, and content delivery

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

You may delete your account directly from the Profile screen in the app. Alternatively, you may email hello@pokernightapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request." We will process email requests within 30 days.

Upon deletion, your authentication data will be permanently removed and your profile will be anonymized. Game history and group data you participated in will be preserved with your identity removed.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update your profile information directly in the app, or request corrections by contacting us
• Deletion — request deletion of your account and data as described in Section 4
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

California residents (CCPA): We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what data we collect and to request its deletion.

EU/EEA residents (GDPR): Our legal basis for processing is (a) contract performance (providing the Service), (b) legitimate interest (security, error tracking), and (c) consent (push notifications). You may contact us or your local data protection authority with complaints.

Your data is processed on Cloudflare's global network, which may store and process data in multiple countries. Our third-party service providers (Sentry, RevenueCat, Resend, Expo) may also process data outside your country of residence. We rely on provider data processing agreements and standard contractual clauses where applicable to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.

Poker Night uses cookies and local storage for authentication sessions and user preferences. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication via OAuth, and access controls on our infrastructure hosted on Cloudflare. We continuously review and improve our security practices to keep your data safe.

Poker Night is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
